 "THE GARDEN TENDER’S CATS goes far beyond a widow who loves gardening and cats. I’ve praised this book to many. It’s a wonderful story about the strength of a widow to withstand unexpected adversity to deter her from purchasing her ideal property. Events lead the reader down a ‘garden path’ of ups and downs and just when you’re convinced, she will not survive - she musters the strength to overcome the obstacles she faces. I was surprised how the story progressed to an intense ultimate mystery hidden beneath the layers of intrigue. It’s like peeling an onion – one layer at a time and each layer is better than the previous one. I hope there is a sequel. I can’t wait to see what happens to Miriam Wheatley and the other characters she will bring along in her next adventure."
